“I AM VERY FORTUNATE”

Can you imagine hearing someone say,

“I AM VERY FORTUNATE”?

I am sure that you probably could recall numerous times you have heard this said. What about hearing someone that has terminal cancer say that? That’s right, someone that has been given an expiration date on their time here with us saying,

“I AM VERY FORTUNATE”.

It was one of those moments that will be etched into my soul forever. Please take some time to watch the video, reflect on the hero I talk about, and take action.

Are you fortunate enough to take action this week and be intentional about kindness? Pick a deed! Comment back and let us know you are making a difference.

  1. It’s great to sites inspiring and motivating others to service. I believe very strongly in motivation also, I call it Truth in Teaching! Okay, yeah I’m a minister, but don’t dare call me reverend! With what I see you doing on your pages so far reminds me of one of my favorite chapters in the Bible: 1John 3:17-19, “But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him.”
It’s good to see there are those who believe in the DEED and not just the words!
God bless you in your continued service to others!

    • Thank you so much for the encouragement. We actually studied this verse at a service about a month ago. It was really a blessing and face me confidence and affirmation on what we are trying to do with Project Deeds.

Is there any way you could share this with your circles of influence? Possibly encourage them to participate with one of the deeds? I would greatly appreciate your support. Thank you!

      • I’ll be glad to follow along, reblog and even post on Facebook. I’m kind of new to blogging and still learning, but have been involved in online ministry for a couple decades plus! You bet I will do what I can. And God bless for your heart!

  2. Thanks for sharing the experience. She has obviously made an impact on you and many others, and hopefully she knows that she has been a positive influence to many.
I went back and completed the “I love what you do” deed from earlier. I sent a message to my cousin about his musical talent and he immediately replied back by saying he was so happy for my upcoming wedding. Not what I expected from a 17 year old, and it was awesome to see one positive message lead to another!

    • That’s great to hear. Thanks so much for the response Mitch. You are Project Deeds #1 supporter and you are making a huge difference in the lives of others.

You are leaving a legacy and the beautiful thing is….. It is not that hard.

  3. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog! I am glad i stopped by yours :). This is actually a mantra my mother instilled throughout my upbringing… it is powerful when put into action. Thanks for the reminder!
